MUD Land Rover factory style Td5/Tdci switches. <br> <br> Our own exclusive range of custom factory style switches are designed to suit Td5 & Tdci Land Rover Defenders. Will also fit Discovery 2, Freelander and soft-dash Classic Range Rover.<br> <br> MUD switches eliminate the common issues normally associated when retro-fitting the factory style switches.<br> <br> The majority of the Genuine Land Rover switches and aftermarket switches switch the earth/ground circuit leading to confusion with installers that typically causes damage to the switches and LEDs. MUD switches differ from the Genuine switches by using conventional Live/Positive circuit switching.<br> <br> MUD switches are simple to wire<br> <br> Pin 1 -Power in<br> Pin 2- Dashboard Illumination in<br> Pin 3-Power out<br> Pin 4 (Silver pin) -Earth/Ground.<br> <br> We've also identified that the unique housing connectors used on the back of the Genuine switches cause hassle and further expense for installers. We’ve simplified installation by going with common spade terminal connections (4.8mm) on the back of the switches, thereby eliminating the need for expensive switch specific connectors. Each MUD switch is supplied with 4x insulated spade terminals.<br> <br> MUD switches are not keyed to any specific aperture in the dashboard so can be fitted into any spare switch location.<br> <br> Note the MUD switches come as a complete switch. Rockers are not interchangeable. MUD switches will fit into the switch apertures of factory Tdci/Td5 dashboard panels and popular aftermarket switch relocation panels. Aftermarket relocation panels tend to be less than precise on their switch aperture sizing but rest assured, MUD switches will fit into your panels.<br>
