High quality LLDPE construction, thoughtful functional design and aesthetically rugged the Rax Box really is the perfect solution for storing any cargo gear inside.<br> <br> The Rax Box is packed full of features to give you the most a box possibly can! With 3 secure latches which can be padlocked ( includes 1 x lock with the box) the Rax box is secure. The rugged design of the box allows it to be impact resistant and durable, while also matching the Rax aesthetic. Opening up the box is simple with the gas strut mechanism, you have an inbuilt rubber trim, creating a waterproof seal, while also having built in M5 fixing points which are ideal for adding Quick Fist ( available separately and would require M5 fixings) to store shovel and accessories you may want to grab quickly. Moving back to the exterior of the Rax Box and there are non skid feet for stability, 2 soft grab handles for carrying, a drain valve and also an integrated bottle opener. All finished in black with the Flatdog Rax Box logo moulded into the lid.<br> <br> To fit to a Flatdog Rax, you can use the Flatdog Rax box mounting kit or simply strap down. The Rax Box can also be fitted to other roof racks and roof bars.<br> <br> The Flatdog Rax Box mounting brackets are the perfect method of mounting your Rax Box to a roof rack or roof bars.<br> <br> Designed to be the perfect Rax Box mount when fitted to the Flatdog Rax range of product ( and universal fit for other brands of roof rack) the mounting bracket set is manufactured from 3mm stainless steel, includes 2 x keyed alike lockable latches ( 2 x Protex latches) and is finished in Rax powder coat Black.<br> <br> Other features of the mounting system include silicon covers for the prong ends, full mounting kit and the ability to mount to the Flatdog Rax anywhere you wish, across 2 or 3 bars.<br> <br> The Rax Box mounting set is also designed as to not increase the width of the Rax box by more than 6mm - meaning you can fit the Rax box on any Flatdog Rax that is 1210 mm in width - as it stands , the entire range!<br> <br> Once mounted in place, the brackets can stay in place and you can remove and refit the Rax Box at will. The way the brackets are designed gives you piece of mind the Rax Box is going nowhere with the silicon covered prongs proving suction/ grip onto the box, before the locking latches really secure it into place.
